Who will you trust your future to? I know that many times these elections can be nothing more that a popularity contest. But if you think about it in life when it effects our lives directly and matters the most we always hire the most experienced person available for the job and he or she may not be the best looking or most popular. With so much at stake why should our elections be any different? We want the most experienced doctors, dentist and caregivers avaliable to take care of us and our families in our time of need.We want the most experienced airline pilots flying us to our destination.We want the most experienced school bus drivers driving our kids to school.The most qualified school teachers available teaching our kids. In the private business sector the most important jobs that have a direct effect on peoples lives always go to the most experienced person available. Why should our election for Springtown City Council be any different? This election is one of those times when it matters the most.The new city council members will be making many complicated governmental decisions over the next twoyears that will have a profound effect on all of our lives for a long time to come and this is no time for on the job training. The city of Springtown is not a rural city anymore. It is time to re-elect or hire the most qualified and experienced person running for the Springtown City Council- Tom W Clayton.
